Samantha came into our foster care in August 2019. She is a small spayed female beagle weighing 30 pounds and is approximately 6 years old.

Don’t let Samantha’s 6 years fool you. She’s a spunky little beagle that has a jaunty step and will race you outside for walks and exploring.

She is super loving and will likely be a lap dog for her future family. Her fur is super soft and it looks like she was well cared for her in past life. It seems she was an owner surrender to a Maryland shelter in their overnight drop box.

Samantha gets along great with other dogs. She loves to play with toys and tumble around with her playmates. She would do very well as a single dog or in a multi-dog household. She would also likely do well with kids and cats!

Samantha appears to be potty trained, as she has not had any accidents in her kennel at all. She does really well in her kennel and doesn’t make a sound, just curls up in her bed. She’s super laid back.

Success Story:   Samantha is doing great !! She is getting used to everything and is loving life! She had made many new friends; both human and doggie. She is eating well and getting plenty of exercise, sniffing the field behind my house and local trails.
