Officially my name is Roseanne but foster mom calls me Rosie. I am a smart girl and know my name but if you offer me the right treats I don't even care what you want to call me. I like food like as much as any Beagle and I am super easy going, so don't even bother hiding medicine or supplements in fancy pill pockets. Just toss everything in my bowl with my food and I will gobble it right up. Yes, I need to take medication right now because when I came into rescue I was infested with these nasty heartworms that could have killed me, but with the help of the vet I am getting rid of them. Foster mom says she can tell things are working because I am suddenly interested in chasing birds, squirrels and even foxes outside the house. At home I am still a relaxed couch potato who does not chase, chew or do anything destructive. I love having a companion because I am a little shy and unsure so I follow my buddy. I am a good girl and want to do the right thing. I only bark when someone comes to the door or when the neighbor's dogs start barking at me first. I will be done with my heartworm treatment in the beginning of August so file your application soon.
