Name:   David Ridgely (now Louie Bluie)

Description:   ~ 2 yrs old ~ 25 lbs ~ NOW ADOPTED ~

David came to us hungry and thin... and suffering heartworm disease. Healthy now, he is a typical 2 year old beagle - friendly, curious, and happy. The only thing that would make him happier is having a home and family of his own to love.

David is making up for lost time. Neglected, unloved, and sick early on, he is lapping up every ounce of the good life his foster home has offered. He is always willing to play with his human and canine foster siblings and exuberantly greets everyone he meets with a tail that wags so hard, we fear it may fly off his backside. He is a PUPPY still and has energy to spare. He will make a wonderful family pet, but would benefit from a basic obedience course. David is a lovely, lovely boy. He's our Blond Bombshell!

Success Story:

We could not have picked a better friend for Walter, even though we worried at first because of the size difference. They are absolute play monsters and they LOVE each other. However, we do think Louie convinced some kind soul that he was a beagle when he is really partly some other kind of hound too. We call him the Louisiana Lemon Hound.
