Name:   Maisie Milford

Description:   ~ 8 yrs old ~ 46 lbs ~ Fostered in Ijamsville, MD ~

Maisie is an older girl who had a hard life—and a lot of puppies—before coming to us. Now she’s ready for “retirement” in a warm, comfortable, and safe home with people to lover her! She enjoys slow walks (especially on trails), napping, and generally being with her people. One of her favorite activities is collecting her “babies” from the toy basket and gently carrying them around the house or even outside for some sun. Maisie is very sweet and happy girl, great with people (but still a little timid), and she (mostly) tolerates other dogs—but would probably do best in a home where she holds a monopoly on all the belly rubs and not have to share her owners with other pets. Maisie is fully house trained but cannot be crated—gates are recommended if she must be confined, but she currently has the run of the house and causes no trouble! Many of her teeth are damaged—probably from trying to chew her way out of her previous confines—so she does best with soft food, but will not turn down a crunchy biscuit. She also does great in the car! If you’re looking for a loving, fairly low-energy, older beagle to keep you company, Maisie is your girl!
