This poor guy is so scared... Kris has very low vision. He sees light and shadow to a degree, but little else. We don't know what his life was like before he got to us, but he's going to need some time to decompress and understand that his life has just taken a sudden turn for the better. It's hard enough for any rescued dog to adjust to so many changes, but Kris can't see and that has to be doubly scary. He flattens himself to the floor when it's obvious that the humans want something from him, so therefore he needed to be carried from the vet to the car and into his foster home. He does perk up when outside and is happy to explore his fenced yard with his nose. We just need to get him used to people. He's a nice boy - and not a mean bone in his body. He takes great comfort in other gentle friendly dogs. We think once he understands the concept of being safe, he'll come around. Stay tuned! Better photos will be coming soon.
