Handsome Ron ended up in rescue because he drew the short straw. There is a limit to the number of dogs his owner could have in her new apartment and now Ron is looking for a permanent home that will be his forever. Ron is a very good boy. He walks well on lead, has house manners, and has been described as pretty quiet. He loves to run and wrestle with other dogs, but has not been introduced to cats. He's also not had a chance to interact with children, but typically beagles enjoy the company of humans of any age. Beagles are also still very puppy-like at two years old, so he'll have some energy and probably isn't above getting into some mischief. Otherwise, the hard work of learning to live indoors has already been done. Ron is a very, very good boy and we'd like to see him live to a ripe old age in his next home.
