Rex is an absolute sweetheart who loves snacks and cuddles. He is still adjusting to indoor living and is prone to the occasional accident, but he is quickly coming to enjoy the comforts associated and will take himself to the crate when he's ready for a nap.

Rex doesn't mind a bit of mischief and is widely regarded as an Olympic-caliber counter-surfer. Rex enjoys his long walks and trips to the dog park, where he loves to run and play with other dogs. He understands and often responds to his basic commands (come, sit, down) but is easily distracted when the sweet, tempting aromas of food and treats reach his active snout.

From his limited interactions on walks, Rex appears to like children, but he gets very excited when they approach and may be prone to knocking over the little ones. Rex would do best in a home with a yard with owners who will continue to work with him. He's eager to please, ready to learn, and can't wait to lay his head on your lap and nap away a lazy afternoon.

Success Story:   A note from new family:

Where do I begin. I have been blessed with two babies from BRSM. Archie Warren the first passed away of old age, and archie Warren the second died tragically in December. But with the persistency of my parents I started looking. I saw Rex or rather my mom did. I met him and I knew right away he was my baby. He has both of my babies in him. He follows me everywhere in the house, if I go upstairs he follows me, he jumps up on my bed and couch and curls right next to me for naps. He loves his walks and doggie daycare training time. I love seeing him jump up and lick my face when I take him out of the crate after work. He loves his treat games and toys (he has many). He gets very excited after his baths, and he runs around happy all the time. Archies tragic death will haunt me always but I firmly believe Archie one and Archie two are in Rex:) thank you BRSM for my fur babies:)
