Success Story:   A note from her family:

I met her on August 19th 2021 and it appeared that Elle' Hughes and I were made for each other as we were both going through a pretty rough patch. I had lost two beagles months earlier and Elle, an 8 year old with the sweetest disposition, was stuck in a noisy shelter in need of a foster. She needed two surgeries, one to be spayed and the other to have a mammary cyst removed, all at the same time. Her mammary cyst came back malignant and she will need to be checked regularly for any abnormalities. But that wasn't all, one month later it was a badly needed dental cleaning with three tooth extractions.

Through all of this, Elle maintained her sweet disposition and the most excellent beagle howl and the bond this experience created for us could not be broken. Ellie (her new name) is doing very well now and officially became part of my family on October 13th. Ellie is now eating great food and treats, taking daily walks and car rides and sleeps in Mommy's bed with a cat or two.

Before I met Ellie, it was difficult to think about adopting a dog. I was depressed about losing my two girls, Daisy and Sunny, but fostering and adopting Ellie made me feel I was honoring them by helping another Beagle sister.

Who rescued who, I'm just sayin'. Thank you BRSM for making sure Ellie (Elle Hughes) got the care she needed and for bringing us together. Everyone at BRSM is awesome?
