Success Story:   Note from her new family: I got Sonia in September. When I met her, she was very scared and timid. She would shake and cower anytime I came near her. She was heartworm positive as well. Over the last few months she has changed as a dog. After getting her heartworm treatment, she began doing zoomies around the house. She loved her adopted siblings, especially her pit bull sister.

She is the most loving dog. She went from a fearful pup to a dog who runs to the door when I get home. She LOVES walks and is learning to love the car. This is my 3rd beagle that I have gotten from the rescue and it will not be my last. She has truly been a GREAT addition to my fur family. I cannot imagine our family without her. Thank you Beagle Rescue of Southern Maryland for allowing me to foster her and then adopt her. My family and I are forever grateful.
