Name:   Fred Dumfries (now Red)

Description:   ~ 10 yrs ~ 33 lbs ~ fostered in Stafford, VA ~

Fred had to leave his loving home when one of the children in the family developed an allergy to him. He was a much loved member of the family, but he has to be rehomed. He has only just arrived, so we will wait to hear what the foster family can report. His former owners reported that he likes a quiet sort of home. And he's good with other dogs and cats.

Success Story:   Thank you so much for everyone’s help with every aspect of helping him.

Red (his new name) is a very happy old man. He loves his nightly walks with our Great Pyrenees Lexi, napping on the couch, digging and hiding in his blankets, eating yogurt and just being an old man napping the day away. He has an adorable hound bark and he will be our travel companion (along with our golden) whenever we go to Pennsylvania to visit family. He made it very clear last time he wasn’t happy momma was gone. He is my little 30 pound shadow. He does great in the minivan so I know traveling with him won’t be an issue.

Again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

The Rogers Family.
