Eli is a sweet beagle. He was extremely timid when he first came to us, but he has warmed up to us now. He still is timid when you reach out your hand.

He is no longer on any medications. He is skiddish and has some trouble on wood floors. He is super sweet. Good with our other dogs. He needs consistency and love. I don’t know what his life was like before last July but whoever would adopt him needs to be consistent and loving with senior aged dogs.

He has a mischievous streak. He likes to sneak the kitchen towels outside and bury them. He will also sneak socks. If you see him with the towels/socks he will bring them to you and give them up if you ask. It’s somehow naughty and cute at the same time.

He is so sweet and very soft. He loves to be scratched on the chin. He doesn’t mind being picked up and was very good in the car on the way to the vet’s office. He, like all beagles, really loves his food, and will gobble it up. He uses special prescription kidney food.
