Gertie is a sweet little girl. She is pretty deaf, so it's easy to startle her. But she's a trooper. She loves being with her peeps and is not much interested in other dogs, though she will join them outside when they see a squirrel or a neighbor bearing treats.

Gertie wakes up at 6am and is taken outside. She is crate & potty trained if taken out on regular intervals. Gertie now enjoys her meals and eats very rapidly with her tail wagging. When she realizes it's mealtime she now barks joyfully and dances readily until she falls down. I'm noticing she's a little more curious about things. As of yet she is not playful with toys or dogs.
