Name:   Highway (now Henry)

Description:   ~ 1.5 yrs old ~ 20 lbs ~ fostered in Arnold, MD ~

Meet Highway! He's so named because he and I95 became as one when he was hit by a car and severely injured. After surgery and a long recuperation period, Highway is ready to move on.

He's a sweet boy with a quiet nature. He likes kids, but prefers the kind that are as quiet and gentle as he is. Loud, boisterous and rough play just aren't his thing. Projecting here, but we can imagine he was sore for a long time and is no hurry to be hurt again, so fast moving rough and tumble children are a bit intimidating.

Foster mom has done a commendable job rehabilitating him and teaching him some house manners. He gets on well with other pets. He's sweet as can be. He's a little sensitive to loud noises and is very easily corrected with minimal voice correction. Highway will be a wonderful companion. He's got a lot of love to give and would like the same in return. If you're interested in adopting Highway, please contact icanhelp@beaglemaryland.org.
