Stella came into our foster care in September 2019. She is a little spayed female beagle weighing in at 17 pounds.

Stella is a spunky little girl and a bundle of love. She’s 5 years old and she’s all boss. She loves to sniff and explore new areas. She wants to be around humans and enjoys the interaction and will take all the attention you can give her!

Being indoors and doing doggie day care is quite new to her; in her life before she lived in pen outside with other dogs in North Carolina. Stella is much more timid in her kennel and opens up when out and about. She is especially enjoys day care and being around other dogs and the attendants. She’s pretty laid back and not super high energy. She also doesn’t bark a whole lot. She is ready to be in a home where there is lots of love, warmth and human attention.

Stella does well in a kennel, crate and in the car. She will cry a bit at first but quickly settles down. She does not get car sick. We think she would do great with children, other dogs and possibly cats.

Stella is not potty trained, and her adopter will need to work with her on this.
