South Carolina is still feeling the effects of Florence....... We had a vet there reach out to us about helping Mac a wondering homeless beagle boy in need.

With everything that he has been through, Mack is still just the sweetest most easygoing boy! I like to call him my Southern gentleman ;-) So far he has gotten along wonderfully with our dog and two cats, other dogs at the vet's office and every person that he meets. He's a simple guy who just wants to eat snacks, sniff around the yard and take naps.

He was found as a stray and I believe that he might have been an outdoor dog all of his life. The first night that we had him he was trying to "dig" in the carpet and would only sleep beside the dog bed on the hard floor. He is just now learning about the sofa, toys and navigating stairs.

We are trying to put some much needed weight on him and also working on potty training issues. He seems to be learning quickly though by watching what our dog is doing. I think that he will soon be ready to make a wonderful addition to someone's family!
