Name:   Gala Hughes

Description:   ~ 3 months ~ Fostered in Gambrills, MD

Gala's mama (Apple) came to us as part of a deceased hunter/backyard breeder's pack. Unbeknownst to the next of kin, she had a litter of newborn puppies hidden away and Gala and her siblings were left behind. They were reunited 24 hours later and we've been waiting to post Gala until closer to the time when she can be adopted. Gala is scheduled to be spayed on September 13, and barring complications will be ready for her new home a week later.

Gala is a typical puppy. She's beautiful, playful, curious and cuddly. She's also not housebroken, will chew on inappropriate items and doesn't know a single command. These things come with time and loving patience. Gala is an adorable little girl, but one day her face will be gray and she may need help to climb stairs. We will carefully screen potential adopters in hopes that whomever falls in love with this sweet face will continue to love and care for her when she becomes old and infirm. Think carefully if you are ready for a commitment of 14-15 years or more. If you're up for the excitement, frustration and over the top cuteness of a puppy, please download an adopter profile from our website and submit it to icanhelp@beaglemaryland.org. Due to the noise level associated with puppies, we discourage placement in apartments or condos.
