Name:   Daphne P George

Description:   ~7-8 yrs old ~ 19 lbs ~ fostered in University Park, MD ~

Daphne was found wandering around a community center. A Good Samaritan brought her to the county shelter. She obviously had been on her own for some time, as she was nothing but a bag of bones.

Daphne has now gained weight and looks much better. She is best described as a sweet dog. She is good-natured, happy, always in a good mood. She very much wants to attach herself to somebody and follows her foster mom from room to room. Although she likes to meet other dogs, she is more interested in people than in dogs and is thrilled when a visitor arrives. She was so interested in the plumber that she had to be removed so the repair could be completed. Aside from upping her calorie count, Daphne enjoys rolling tin the grass, taking walks, and riding in the car. She is not barky. Daphne is crate-trained and ignores the cat. She is housebroken most of the time.
