Wuffie is a charming, sweet, slightly submissive petite beagle girl. As far as beagles go, she's one of the pickier eaters her foster mom has encountered. Right now, she only eats a few bites of every other meal and is even selective about treats, so she's pretty skinny. Wuffie does have a grade 3 out of 6 heart murmur but does not require any medication, and it doesn't seem to affect her at all.

Wuffie LOVES snuggles and being petted, but isn’t clingy – she’s happy to camp out in the comfy chair for a bit while her foster mom does her chores around the hosue. Wuffie also has a cute little independent curiosity streak but not so much that she's tried to escape the yard – she likes to wander and stiff around the house and after only 2 days, figured out how to get on the furniture and bed on her own. Most fosters don't do that – they wait until they're invited or shown how. She settles down nicely into the crate when her foster mom leaves for work and seems to be housebroken too!

Having interacted only positively with the other foster and resident dogs, Wuffie knows when to steer clear of the matriarch, foster Lulu and her temper tantrums, but has no qualms about sharing the chair or sofa when Lulu demands. Although Wuffie runs around like a puppy sometimes, she's rebuffed every attempt the resident boy beagle has made to get her to play. :-)
