Sam, my sweet old boy who walks to his own drummer. He loves to go for walks. It might take him a little bit longer than a youngster. He does have problem seeing but he still gets around. When he comes back in from doing his business, he tries to play like he is two years old again. Then after a short burst of play, he is ready to find a bed and take a nap. Sam does not bark and he lets you know when he needs to go out. All this precious dog needs a warm bed, plenty of treats and lots of loving. Even though he is getting old he still has a lot of loving to give. Sam would do great in an apartment. If you want a love bug and one that is on low speed this would be a great dog for you.
