Name:   Abby Warren

Description:   ~ 1 yr old ~ 33 lb ~ fostered in Severn, MD ~
Abby is an such an adorable young sweetheart. It may take a little bit for her to warm up to you but once she does she is nothing but a spunky fun-loving companion. Since Abby is still young she has a lot of energy and is very curious about everything, so keeping her entertained when she is awake is wise! She loves to run outside, play with all her toys, and definitely enjoys a good neck scratching! You'll know when Abby is ready to rest though by her loud yawns! She also enjoys playing with her foster siblings so much so she even misses them when they leave the room! She prefers not to be in her cage and is crafty enough to escape on occasion. She still needs some work on learning her manners and not having accidents, but with some help these will most likely fade as she grows into an adult dog. Abby isn't a kissy dog but you'll know she appreciates you by her constantly wagging tail. She will most likely do well with someone who is active and can spend some good quality time with her. She would also probably enjoy having other playmates with her to help let out some of her energy. In general, Abby is too cute and too sweet to pass by! She would make a wonderful addition to any loving household!

Success Story:   Abby is doing great! When we last spoke she was dealing with being left home alone. We immediately stopped crating her and started leaving her with our other two dogs to roam the downstairs part of the house. She took to this idea right away and has since been a perfect angel! We do leave pee pads down in front of the door she uses to go to the bathroom, and she only uses them on longer work days. Otherwise, she is free to play with the other puppies and nap on the couches as much as she likes. She also has a huge personality! She is the goofiest dog I've ever had! She has the funniest facial expressions, she groans like an old man when curling up to go to sleep, she runs (not walks!) everywhere, she's curious about everything, and she gets everyone in the house in a playful mood! After all that, she'll curl right up next to the other puppies or my husband or I and just nap away! She has been a delight and my husband and I are so happy we made her a part of the family.
