Name:   Susie Henderson

Description:   ~6-7 yrs old ~ 25 lbs ~ fostered in Cockeysville, MD ~

Susie is the calmest, loveliest dog his foster mom has ever cared for. She is a happy girl, friendly and not at all needy. She will join in barking if other dogs are making noise, but otherwise tends to be quiet. She and her brother Andy appear to be part Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Susie enjoys sitting with her foster mom some of the time but is just as likely to seek out a more private spot for nap, on the floor or in another room. Susie does really well in a crate. She has interacted well with cats and kids in her foster home. Large groups of guests and Fourth of July fireworks didn't phase her. As a middle aged gal, she is the perfect age: delighted to go for a walk, but just as happy to sack out on the couch if her humans are too busy. Susie is calm, pretty, and low maintenance. She would be happiest in a home with other dogs, or where her human is home most of the time.

Success Story:   We fostered Susie, but once in our house, we fell in love with her! She is the sweetest girl. She has 2 new brothers to play with, and she loves them. She and Raleigh are nicknamed the "Beagle Brigade" and they love to sniff and "hunt" together when on a walk. She also loves her older brother Brutus and will cuddle with him. She is so happy here; she snuggles up with us and sits on our laps. She also loves her naps on the couch. Although she wasn't fully house trained when we got her, she is now. She now sleeps on the bed with us, and we often wake up with her face or tummy in one of our faces (and we love it). She is the prettiest girl and we thank BRSM so much for saving her. We can't imagine our life without her! You all are the best.
