Name:   Gus Warren

Description:   ADOPTED
Gus came into our foster care in April 2016. He is a neutered male weighing approximately 42 pounds and is now about 3 years old and is up to date on all shots. Gus would do well either as a single dog or in a multi-dog household. He would likely do with children as well.

Gus is very sweet and loving. He craves human interaction and love. He will be your shadow and follow you around your home. He loves to cuddle with humans. He gets along very well with other dogs and tends to become attached to other dogs that he spends a great deal of time with. Along with all that love he does have some separation anxiety and is looking for a patient and kind mom or dad to help him work through this.

Gus is smart and, typical to the breed, will likely enjoy running around outdoors, chasing squirrels, and may be bit of an escape artist. He has been having regular potty breaks at Healthy Hound but will need potty training in a new home environment.

If you are bringing Gus into a home as a second dog, intros should be done so that he knows he is second in line and preference should be given to the first dog until there are established pack rules. It may take some time for the order to be established or it may happen right away.

If you are looking for a loving companion to be your true friend, you will be very lucky to have this guy come be a part of your family.
