Name:   Rio George (now Ringo)

Description:   ~ 2 yrs old ~ 44 lbs ~ fostered in Edgewater, MD ~

Rio is a charming boy. He found himself at the shelter when the owner gave him to a friend, and the friend really didn't have the lifestyle for a dog. He's been loved but overfed. He is said to be potty-trained and likes to play with other dogs. I think Rio has done the best he could with people who really shouldn't have had a dog. He needs a chance to show people how wonderful it is to have a happy boy in the house.

Rio loves his toys. Sometimes he can't control his enthusiasm and will jump up and grab the toy if you're holding it. He may need some obedience training to help control his love.

Success Story:   I just wanted to thank you and your organization for our little guy, Ringo. He is doing GREAT and we've really enjoyed every minute of him so far. It is obvious that his foster family took exceptional care of him - he is wonderfully behaved with children and other dogs and he has yet to have any kind of potty training accidents. And he is so cuddly!

You and your volunteers have been organized, efficient and responsive - the adoption process was easy and non-stressful. Thanks for all you do for Beagles in Southern Maryland!
