He is a very nice boy. He seems to be housebroken, he is very good while eating, and he's figured out the house already so he's super smart! When I ate, he begged a tiny bit, but then settled himself down on his bed and left me alone. This guy is amazingly sweet. He's been quiet but when he barks he isn't loud. He has a throaty bark (like whiskey and cigarettes! LOL) that is in no way annoying (famous last words, yeah, I know!)

Bath tonight and a strut around the hood. I think he's ready. Oh, and he's afraid of my camera, so I'll try again tonight or tomorrow. He hides his face when I take it out. :-(

Update (or confirmation!): Hopper is housebroken. He is sleeping through the night with no issues. He knows when I leave in the morning that he has to go in his crate (he doesn't love it, but he goes in anyway). No matter how much one resident dog, Johnny, tries to herd him or chase him, he does not respond with aggression, but he will bark in Johnny's obnoxious face. He doesn't seem to be interested in toys. He loves the natural antlers that I gave him to chew on though. He is eating just fine, but prefers a little something in his food, even if it's just a little warm water to make some "gravy". :-)

While Hopper is not aggressive with other dogs, bossy dogs make him nervous and a little barky. We think he would be happiest as an "only" dog or with another very mellow dog.
