Jasper is a tall, 48 pound hound mix who is about 5 -7 years old. He was rescued by BRSM from the shelter and was a staff favorite there. He is a couch potato who likes to be in the same room as his humans. Jasper likes walks and he does not bark at other dogs or people while on a walk. He is very mellow, good with other dogs but, we do not know about cats. He is not food aggressive but, does like his meal times and is tall enough to take food off the counter such as a loaf of bread or sip unattended water or coffee if left on a coffee table. He is house trained.

He was treated and cured of heartworm disease, now ready for his forever home.

Success Story:   He has fit right into the family and has stolen my husband's heart. They are the best of buddies. He is a little slow getting around but I do believe this was from the heartworm treatment. I understand that the needles they use can also cause some type of paralysis and he does have a little trouble getting around. But we're working on it. Kemper is the sweetest love ever
