Skipper emerged from the 15 hour transport in a crate from Hendersonville, KY to Hagerstown, MD as though it were a pleasure cruise. Friendly to the max, affectionate, joyful, and stunningly beautiful, he is a sweetheart. Skipper doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body. He's still a pup, though, so will playfully "mouth." He'd probably love a basket full of chew toys.

Skip has an amazing grasp of house manners for one so recently rescued. His mom takes him for a walk each morning and he's couch potato while she's at work. So far, so good as far as accidents in the house.

This guy loves life too much to spend it confined and lonely, so we're going to suggest a home with another outgoing friendly dog, or an active family with children, preferably a family who is home much of the day. Skip gets lonely when his humans aren't around and will bark in frustration, so apartment/condo living isn't an option for him. Skipper is a GREAT dog looking for his perfect forever home. Success Story:   Skipper is doing great! He loves to eat fruits and vegetables, though he is not fond of lettuce. He is kind to his beagle sister Jane. I think he knows this is his forever home and he's at ease now.
