Gus’ life motto is that he can never have too many walks or too many snuggles!

All he wants in life is attention from his people — after playing with his beloved toys or trotting around the neighborhood. He thrives on love from his people, and has no problem nudging, prodding, and pawing for more.

He is crate trained, walks well (and fast!) on leash, rides perfectly in the car, loves all the foods, and makes for the most loving companion.

He does phenomenally with kids (ages 3 and 1) and interacts with most dogs well, but it sometimes takes him a bit to warm up. He enjoys playing with his foster sister, and he would do well with a canine companion that isn’t too high energy. Gus does not like living with multiple dogs, so one other pup is a maximum.

If you’re looking for a silly, lovable friend who will join you for an adventure and then retreat to the couch for full body snuggles and napping, Gus is your guy.

He loves:

Snuggling in between people’s legs
Somehow touching (at least one of) his people while napping on the couch
Walking around the neighborhood 3-4 times a day
Barking for another walk as soon as he gets home
Playing with toys
Rolling around in the backyard
Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner
Making his people laugh
