This very sweet small beagle was picked up as a stray in Georgia, extremely thin. Beagle Rescue staff brought her to South Carolina and then MD for her medical checkup, vaccinations, worming, and spay. Dolly is now living happily with a foster family in the Silver Spring area but needs a permanent home and family. She has been through a lot in the last month but is still as sweet as can be.

She now eats 2 big meals a day and she's looking much better, perhaps up to 15 pounds. She has not yet been taught to pee outside consistently, but we're working on it. The vet estimated her age as 7 but I don't believe she's more than 5 years old. I think walking on a leash is relatively new to her, and she is a serious sniffer when she's on a walk or in the yard! She gets along fine with my 2 other beagles and loves people, begging to be petted by everyone she sees. She started romping with one of the other beagles today. I haven't seen her with any cats, but I think she'd be great with kids.

As you can see in the photos, she has lovely reddish brown fur on her head and ears. Her coat is very soft and she is great to cuddle with. You would be so happy to have Dolly as part of your family.
