Celie didn’t have the easiest start in life and is still adjusting to being part of a family. She startles easily and is a bit hand shy. She warms up to women faster than men but is happy to be anyone’s cuddle buddy once she knows you’re a friend. In true beagle form the fastest way to her heart is through her stomach and if you give her a banana (her favorite) you’ll be her bestie. She lives with a 7 year old human with whom she is great friends, even if she does chew his toys sometimes. She gets along well with other dogs (and we insist that she go to a home with another dog. She IS intimidated by dogs larger than herself. She will chase cats if given a chance. She would do best in a quiet neighborhood; the hustle and bustle of the big city is too much for her. .
