Dennis is a beautiful boy, full of curiosity and energy. He is friendly without being in your face about it, walks respectably well on lead and has housetraining 90% knocked out. Dennis is an owner surrendered boy. Although much loved, his tolerance for being crated during his owner's long business hours has worn thin and she realizes that he would be happiest with companionship and where he can burn off some energy. If left alone and uncrated, he can become bored and destructive--which is typical puppy behavior. It is truly in Dennis's best interests that he have a home where the humans are home more often than not - and if he had a big back yard to play in - and maybe another friendly dog, he'd be over the moon.

Dennis adores other dogs. Cats are an unknown, but because he's young and playful, would probably have Fluffy dialing a crisis hotline before the end of the first day. This boy needs a tall and securely fenced yard. He's leggy, lean and athletic and we're pretty sure he could clear a 4' fence with little trouble. He's a bit anxious in the car, but does not seem to get sick.
