Marianne comes to us from the Envigo laboratory breeding facility rescue efforts.
Marianne has come a long way since leaving the Envigo lab breeding facility. She has stretched her legs and run for the first time and loves doing zoomies in the yard, after which she throws herself full-length on her side and sunbathes. She has accustomed herself to many normal household noises that at first scared her, such as drawers and doors being shut, but she still thinks that loud garage door going up and down is straight from the devil! She will now take things gently from your fingers and although she doesn't know how to heel she walks calmly on a leash. She has mastered going up and down steps and rides quietly on the back seat of the car. When meeting another dog, at first she barks and acts unfriendly, such as when she met the 3 dogs in the surrounding yards, but then calms down and acts civilly. She is still working on being housebroken, but has made progress --- she is now clean and dry throughout the night.
Marianne has 2 goals in life. The first is to find a home and the second is to become a dancer --- she can already walk several steps on her hind legs and jump into the air where she does a pirouette. Little Marianne loves human interaction and being talked to. You couldn't ask for a sweeter and friendlier dog.
