Meet Fannie! She’s around 2 years old, 25 lbs, and cute as can be! How do you not love a pink nose?!

Fannie has been in the rescue for a few weeks now. She came as a stray so not much is known about her. Here’s what we do know! She is a shy little girl who is working on her confidence. We believe she is potty trained now after being here a few weeks. She shares the foster home with two male beagles and two cats. She is super well behaved with them. Well, she is learning manners when it comes to treats because she thinks they are all hers, but she’s getting it! She loves snuggling with her foster parents and she’s slowly learning to snuggle with the other dogs. It’s super adorable!

As she becomes more confident, we are slowly seeing her play with toys. She loves doing laps in back yard but once she’s done she seems to prefer to being on couch with the humans. She’s starting to really enjoy her walks, exploring more. She is a little nervous with humans, and on her terms, she will give them a sniff. It’s adorable watching her come out of her shell!

Fannie would do well with another dog to boost her confidence but if she had only humans, she would need them to be patient and help her be this beautiful sweet girl we are beginning to see. We believe she would be good with kids. She seemed more comfortable with the next door neighbors 2 year old daughter than she did with the big tall human LOL! Oh and Fannie hasn’t barked once! She has joined in the beagle chorus a couple of times but other than that she’s a silent beagle, imagine that! She really is a sweetheart who will truly make someone or a family happy.
