Sweet little man has some issues to overcome. He is heartworm positive and he is almost blind. He has a rare type of cataract and it is inoperable. He will eventually go completely blind. It would be best to be in a home where he doesn't have to climb a lot of stairs and his people won't expect to take him hiking or agility contests. Dogs can adjust quite well if they are in a good spot with a loving family. Even now, he uses his nose as his eyes and still loves to chase a possum that mistakenly wandered into the yard. In all other ways, he is a typical young beagle boy.
