Gable is a tiny, friendly, happy guy who seems much younger than the guestimated 3 years. While he's settling in, he's sticking close to his foster mom. He is dog and human friendly. We do not know about cats, but his high energy level will certainly send your cat into hiding at first. He's doing OK with his housetraining, but Mom takes him out frequently. He's still a work in progress in that area, but he's smart. He'll get it down.

So far he hasn't relaxed enough to try any of the myriad of snacks that have been offered, taking only chicken. And houseplants. If you're an avid indoor gardener, your houseplants are fair game. Since many plants are toxic to pets, this is something to consider before bringing him into your home. Gable will whine when he wants something, but so far he's not much of a barker. Gable has tons of energy, even after long walks and playtime (again, we think he's younger than 3), so another playful dog might be just the thing to wear him out. He's only been in his foster home for about a week, so is still getting used to the new normal.
