Tommy has absolutely zero reservations about living the good life again. His foster dad drove to the shelter to pick him up and Tommy emerged head and tail high with a big friendly grin on his face. Upon arrival at his foster home, he greeted the resident dog as though they had been separated at birth and they proceeded to run, wrestle and chase the day away. Tommy is good with kids and other dogs. He has displayed no food or toy aggression (but he hasn't been given any high value items yet). He could use some obedience training (What beagle couldn't?). We think that Tommy has some pug in his family tree. He walks well on lead and unlike the zig zag tracking behavior that your typical beagle exhibits on a walk, Tommy walks straight ahead with his head up. He's a really, really good boy!
