Paul is very shy but you can see he wants to belong and get affection. He is learning to take treats from humans but isn't ready to take them from your hand quite yet but we think he'll have a breakthrough soon. He is crate trained and working on house training. A patient household would be best and an outgoing dog to show him the ropes would be ok too as he seems like he wants to play but is still a bit unsure.

He has a few mobility issues, but they don't stop him from running around with other beagles in the back yard. For the most part, he's normal, but has a hard time with a lot of stairs. A townhouse might not be the best spot for him.
