Petey is such a sweet boy. He is slowly getting used to being in a house. He loves to lay on his foam dog bed and chew on plush toys. He gets along with his foster siblings (2 beagles and a pit mix) who are also rescues. He is still un sure about people. He does come up to get love and pets but it is on his terms. He is starting to open up. During the day he is in his crate while his foster mom is at work. He also sleeps in the crate at night. He loves his nightly treats.

Right now when he is outside he is on a chain because he is still getting used to the fence and boundaries. Since he was a stray, he has to get used to being in a yard. He loves walks. He and his foster brother love to mark everything while on a walk. He has a good grasp on housetraining. He loves a car ride especially when his ears can flap in the wind. In the car he does well with a doggie seat belt.

He has not been around children but so far he get along with his foster siblings. Petey is not food aggressive.

He is such a sweetheart and needs someone with patience. He needs a family that will give him time to get used to his new environment.
