Katie is a beautiful girl who is very people bonded. We're not sure why she and her sister Dottie were surrendered, but Katie has clearly indulged in the good life in her past. 46 lbs upon arrival, she could easily stand to lose at least 15 more. She must have been fed table scraps, as she is not a huge fan of the dry kibble offered in her foster home.

Katie wants to be with her humans at all times, whether in the living room, bedroom or bathroom. Her girth prevents her from jumping on the sofa or bed, but in a few weeks, we're guessing she'll clear both with ease. Katie can be bossy with other dogs, so unless she goes to a home as an only dog, her companions should be on the submissive side. Katie seems to be mostly house broken. With a set routine and frequent potty breaks, she should do just fine.
