Trixie unexpectedly found herself in need of a home when her aging owners could no longer care for her. Fortunately she got to bypass the shelter and ended up with us. Unfortunately, she is stuck in a crate all day at the vet's office for want of a foster. Also unfortunate, Trixie has Cushings Disease. She will require medication for the rest of her life and once we hit on the correct dosage and her condition stabilizes, she'll need to visit the vet for monitoring a couple of times a year. This makes Trixie eligible for our Forever Foster program. Trixie misses the good life and she's a little confused by her circumstances. She would love a nice warm home with soft spoken humans where she could relax, unwind and reevaluate her life. She's a spunky girl and would make someone a loving companion.
