Until rescue, Dora was never given a reason to like or trust humans. Since entering rescue she has made great progress in gaining confidence, although she is still shy upon meeting new people, she warms up fairly quickly if they are gentle with her.

Dora is house trained, crate trained and walks well on a lead. Since she's basically still a baby, she is energetic and loves taking walks. She also loves to play, act silly and jump around with the other dogs in her foster home. Dora is very smart and caught on to the house rules quickly.

Dora will be most comfortable placed in a home with another playful, self confident dog, especially since she is still a bit wary of humankind. She will need a home with consistent training and loving patience. Because of her timid nature, small children with their quick, unpredictable movements are not recommended. Dora has the cutest beagle bay (bark)!
