Name:   BB Warren (now BeBe)
Description:   ~ 1 yr old ~ 42 lbs ~ Fostered in Baltimore, MD ~

BB has settled into her foster home with very few issues. After some initial adjustment while the household dogs figured out the new normal, she gets on very well with her fellow beagles, even participating in the "beagle sleeping pile." In spite of a relatively high energy level, she has a calm aura about her that makes her a wonderful companion dog. She would prefer a home where she will be allowed to snuggle on the sofa or in bed with her human. She is self-confident and outgoing, has excellent house manners and is, in general, a very pleasant house guest. Her fosters try to burn up some of her energy by walking her often and she can be a little bossy on lead, preferring to choose the path and set the pace, so this may require work unless you don't mind her taking charge. She would do well placed with another friendly dog and will entertain you by performing zoomies throughout the house. At one year old, she's really just a pup.

BB is untried with children or cats, but she seems unscared by her past life, so we highly doubt there would be an issue - although initial curiosity directed toward a cat will probably result in a lot of hissing from the cat, and a bloody nose for BB.

Because of her age, we would recommend a younger, more active household, although active seniors who enjoy hiking might be a good fit, as well.

All in all, BB is a VERY nice girl in search of a loving, happily ever after. If you are interested in BB, please contact icanhelp@beaglemaryland.org. She's waiting!
